BREAKING News Out Of New York City… HE IS PAYING THE PRICE NOW!!!

The owner of the West Village bar that booted a Trump supporter wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap says he’s received nearly two dozen death threats since the incident, Julia Marsh at The New York Post reports.

“We’ve been trolled on social media pretty intensely,” said The Happiest Hour proprietor Jon Neidich, adding that he is “surprised by the amount of hate that seems to be harbored” against him.

Neidich told The Post that the threats started pouring in after Philadelphia accountant Greg Piatek, 31, was ousted from the watering hole in January 2017 while wearing his Trump campaign cap.

Right Wing Tribune reported that Greg Piatek of Philadelphia claims he was refused service and then eventually removed from a New York City bar in January 2017 for wearing a “Make American Great Again” hat, in a lawsuit against the establishment.

“Anyone who supports Trump — or believes in what you believe — is not welcome here! And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!” Piatek claims the staff of The Happiest Hour told him.

So he sued in Manhattan Supreme Court, claiming the incident “offended his sense of being American,” the New York Post reported.

Piatek’s attorney Paul Liggieri responded in court, “The purpose of the hat is that he wore it because he was visiting the 9/11 Memorial.”

“He was paying spiritual tribute to the victims of 9/11. The Make American Great Again hat was part of his spiritual belief,” Liggieri claimed. “Rather than remove his hat, instead he held true to his spiritual belief and was forced from the bar,” Liggieri told Justice David Cohen, the New York Post reported.

The judge ultimately threw the case out.

But Neidich said his staff gave Piatek the heave-ho because he was being “drunk and belligerent” and catcalling a female bartender after three hours of boozing with pals.

Asked repeatedly if he welcomes Trump supporters to his West 10th Street bar, Neidich, who voted for Hillary Clinton, would only say, “Do we welcome them? We don’t discriminate.”

Neidich said Piatek’s lawyer, Paul Liggieri, got Piatek to make the claim as a “publicity stunt.” Liggieri did not return requests for comment.

Neidich said his staff has reported the death threats against him to the bar’s local police precinct. Cops confirmed that at least two reports were filed.

The Happiest Hour denied that Piatek had been removed in the first place, stating Piatek “was sufficiently pleased with his service at the bar [and] that he added” a $36 tip onto the $186 tab, according to the New York Post. The bar owners suggest Piatek’s lawsuit was a “publicity stunt.”
