Tomi Lahren spoke out today slamming the protesting NFL player saying “You disgust me!”
Also on her Instagram page, Lahren shared a photo of herself wearing a shirt with the American flag above the phrase “I don’t kneel” in all caps.
“We stand for the anthem and salute the flag to honor those who fought, died and sacrificed so that we may live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. Get on your knees and pray, then get on your feet and respect the nation that’s given you so much,”
“It’s 100% their right to choose that moment to protest. Here is a #utopian thought though; why not protest right before or right after the anthem?” one woman wrote on her Instagram post with the hashtag #Istand. “Reserving that moment would be a way to show understanding of what was sacrificed so that freedoms can be exercised, then exercising those freedoms by protesting; or vice versa but again separated to pay respects to those who have fallen.
“For as long as I can remember our anthem has always been a moment reserved to remind us of what the price of freedom is,” she concluded.
