Debbie Wasserman Schultz Cleared Of Fraud Charges

Debbie Wasserman Schultz

When your buddy buddy with Barack Obama it seems like you can get away with anything, as we see proved once again with former Democratic National Committee chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz cleared of fraud.

Schultz was accused of helping Hillary Clinton during the 2016 Democratic Party primary by Bernie Saunders supports who filed a lawsuit against her.

Back during the campaign, she was a vocal in her critic of Sanders where she said that Sanders only goal was to secure Hillary’s position. Sanders’ supports condemned her actions, and claimed that Wasserman Schultz went against the DNC’s official neutrality in primary contests.

It was Federal Judge William Zloch who dismissed the lawsuit, and cleared Schultz of fraud.

“The Court must now decide whether Plaintiffs have suffered a concrete injury particularized to them, or one certainly impending, that is traceable to the DNC and its former chair’s conduct – the keys to entering federal court. The Court holds that they have not, which means the truth of their claims cannot be tested in this Court,” Judge William wrote in his judgment.

Jared and Elizabeth Beck tried to open the unsolved case of Seth Rich. The DNC staffer was killed in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington last year.

The judge ruled that the lawyers didn’t provide enough evidence. He believes that 100 Sanders supporters can’t meet the legal criteria required for a class-action suit. “To the extent Plaintiffs wish to air their general grievances with the DNC or its candidate selection process, their redress is through the ballot box, the DNC’s internal workings, or their right of free speech – not through the judiciary,” the judge noted.
