54% Of Americans Support Confederate Monuments

Confederate Monuments

A Reuters poll has reported that according a majority of Americans support keeping Confederate statues while slightly more than a quarter favor taking them down:

The Aug. 18-21 poll found that 54 percent of adults said Confederate monuments “should remain in all public spaces” while 27 percent said they “should be removed from all public spaces.” Another 19 percent said they “don’t know.”

Responses to the poll were sharply split along racial and party lines, however, with whites and Republicans largely supportive of preservation. Democrats and minorities were more likely to support removal.

So as usual the main stream media has failed to accurately portray the feelings of everyday Americans as they continue to push their left wing agenda.

  1. Doesn’t surprise me, I heard 52% of Americans were offended by nfl players taking a knee. I guess majority only rules when the winey-butt liberals have it. A white nut murders innocent people in a church and you hear about it for weeks, all confederate battle flags and monuments should come down, etc. A black nut shoots and kills a woman, then shoots six more in church and I have to get on internet to find out what happened.
