Some reporters still believe it’s OK for them to spread lies and blame it all on President Trump, as we see in this video of yesterdays White House briefing.
Reporter Brian Karem looses it as he tries to push back over allegations that he and others are the manufacturers of fake news.
Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was talking about the video of a CNN producer admitting that the Russian storyline was fake, but was being pushed for ratings.
After Sanders said that everyone should watch the video, Sentinel White House correspondent Karem said, “Come on, you are inflaming everybody right here, right now with those words.”
Continuing his outburst he went on to say, “This administration has done that as well. Why in the name of heavens would anyone of us…if we don’t get it right, the audience has the right to turn the channel or not read us. You have been elected to serve for four years at least, there is no option other than that.”
“We are here to ask you questions and you are here to provide the answers, but what you just did is inflammatory to people all over the country who look at it and say ‘See, once again, the President is right and everyone else out here is fake media.’
“And everyone in this room is only trying to do their job.”
Sanders let him finish his rant before saying, “I disagree completely, first of all, if anything has been inflammatory it has been the dishonesty of the news media and I think it is outrageous for you to accuse me of inflaming a story when I was simply trying to respond to a question.”
What do you think?
