James Clapper is the former director of national intelligence under the Obama administration, and has denied all accusations against the former Obama administration for wiretapping Trump.
“There was no such wiretap activity mounted against the president, the president-elect, at the time, or as a candidate, or against his campaign,” Clapper said on NBC’s “Meet the Press”.
Clapper stated that if there was a FISA court order to do any surveillance on Trump, that he would have been one of the first people to know about it.

But conservatives and Republican were quick to point out that it’s difficult to believe any of Clapper’s comments as he has a history of lying on surveillance issues.
Ben Shapiro agreed that what Clapper said on NBC may be true, but again reminded his followers of the false testimony he gave to Congress under oath in 2013 about NSA spying:
Clapper says no wiretapping of Trump Tower. That may be true. But here is another thing Clapper said about surveillance. Under oath. pic.twitter.com/KYBaPotqtV

Is this just another liberal tactic of deny everything? What do you think?
