It was Friday night that a federal judge in Seattle placed a nationwide restraining order against enforcement of Trump’s travel ban.
Now that decision has put the travel ban on hold and the DHS stopped all aspects of it.
Then the Department of Justice filed an appeal of that order and asked for an immediate stay against its imposition.
And now that appeal court judge has reached a decision on the immediate stay this morning.
A federal appeals court denied early Sunday the Justice Department’s request for an immediate reinstatement of President Donald Trump’s ban on accepting certain travelers and all refugees.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco instead asked challengers of the ban respond to the appeal filed by the Trump administration late Saturday night, and for the Justice Department to file a counter-response by Monday afternoon.
So this means that the ban will actually be decided on Monday EVENING, and Trump’s motion has NOT been rejected as was reported in Main Stream Media!
