The American Civil Liberties Union said that the situation is getting worse after President Donald Trump signed an executive order that bars citizens from seven countries with potential terrorist activities. They’re worried about the “multiple reports” that came on their address regarding this executive order.
Most of the reports were “judging” the federal customs about their obedience of President Trump’s decision. So, there’s something that bothers us. Since when is it wrong to follow orders given by the commander-in-chief? We just can’t get it. These people are just doing their job. That’s what they get paid for.
They were also accusing the customs about disobeying the Brooklyn federal judge’s demand to keep travelers from the Muslim countries that got banned on American soil. The judge said that if this happened two days ago, these people could easily go to any part of the country. Well, yes they could, but it’s also important to note that some of the travelers may be posing a threat to our national security. Let’s not forget about all the attacks that left families without their loved ones. It seems like the federal judge forgot about this. Should we survive another incident before she changes her mind? Does the judge knows what an executive order means?
“The court’s order could not be clearer… they need to comply with the order,” Omar Jadwat, director of the ACLU’s Immigrants Rights project, told The Post late Saturday.
“It’s enough to be a serious concern,” Jadwat complained in one of his interviews.
Brooklyn Federal Judge Ann Donnelly granted them an emergency stay for the night before. The order of the judge is issued against the decision brought by President Trump. So, who is failing to fulfill an order now, huh?
What do you think about this incident?
