Hillary Clinton campaigned on the continuing legacy of Barack Obama’s presidency, and the American public clearly rejected it!
Obama’s legacy is $20 trillion in debt, record high rates of poverty and government dependence, a historically low labor force participation rate, record student loan debt, record high healthcare costs, the rise and spread of ISIS – and on and on!
Despite all this, liberals are still claiming that Barack Obama will leave office as one of our most popular presidents. While he may be popular as a person, his policies certainly are not.
And who knows what kind of trickery the pollsters are implementing. Probably the same kind that led to every single major poll showing Donald Trump losing in a landslide to Hillary Clinton, even on election day. It could just be another case of fake news, and that’s what Donald Trump is stating in response to the news.
As Breitbart reported:
President-elect Donald Trump ridiculed recent polls showing that he is already suffering from low approval ratings as he prepares for his inauguration.
“The same people who did the phony election polls, and were so wrong, are now doing approval rating polls,” he wrote on Twitter this morning. “They are rigged just like before.”
Pundits and media figures are citing an ABC News/Washington Post poll that shows Trump entering office as the most unpopular president for at least 40 years. Only 40 percent see Trump favorably overall, 21 points behind Obama’s favorability numbers.

And he’s right, by the way. The ABC News/Washington Post poll was conducted Jan. 12-15, 2017 among 1,005 adults. Look no further at the partisan divisions of 31-23-37 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents, and you’ll realize that there were eight percentage points more Democrats in the sample than Republicans.
Regardless, a public opinion poll is no substitute for thought. If Obama truly does maintain a high approval despite his disastrous Presidency, it’s only a testament to the power of the liberal media to control the narrative.
