FBI confirms what we already know, that violent crime, especially murder, is on the rise. Major cities as seeing a 21.6 percent increase in murder rates.
In the first 6 months of 2016 there was a 5.2 percent increase in the murder rate when compared to the first half of 2015. The number of aggravated assaults increased by 6.5 percent, robbery is 3.2 higher, and rapes under both the “legacy” and “revised” definitions got up by 4.4 percent and 3.5 percent, respectively.
This report rebukes Obama’s claim that there is no rise in crime rates. “There is no growing crime wave,” Obama claimed in an essay for the Harvard law Review, which was published on January 5.
Here’s what the FBI report said:
Violent crime increased in all city groupings. Among cities, violent crime rose the most over the previous year (9.7 percent) in those with populations of 1,000,000 and over. In cities with populations from 500,000 to 999,999, violent crime increased 5.2 percent, and in cities with 250,000 to 499,999 inhabitants, violent crime was up 4.3 percent.
Violent crime increased 6.3 percent in metropolitan counties and rose 1.6 percent in nonmetropolitan counties.
Violent crime increased in all four regions of the nation. These crimes were up 6.4 percent in the West, 5.9 percent in both the Midwest and in the South, and 1.2 percent in the Northeast
New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, and Dallas are some of the major cities with one million citizens and more.
These cities suffer from violent crime, and it increased by 9.7 percent. Murders went up by 21.6 percent. Rapes under the revised definition— “penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim”— have risen by 11.3 percent. Robbery cases increased by 6.3 percent. Aggravated assault increased by 11.4 percent. Burglary dropped by 5.4 percent. Motor vehicle theft cases increased by 5.9 percent and larceny rose 3.3 percent. The number of arson is 5.3 percent higher.
Property crime cases dropped at 0.6 percent, but in major cities they increased by 2.1 percent.
According to Breitbart News, the FBI’s 2015 report on murders has a 10.8 percent increase in murder cases from 2014 to 201. This is the highest increase in one year since the period of 1971.
During Obama term as President, America experienced a sudden reversal of a decades-long decline in violent crime. This started in 2014.
The FBI noticed the reversal right away. FBI Director James Comey claimed that “part of the explanation” for rising crime “is a chill wind blowing through American law enforcement over the last year,” which has been fueled by Obama.
Remember how Obama released all those criminals?
Obama said that he is the “first president in decades to leave office with a federal prison population lower than when I took office.”
This may be true, but only because Obama is releasing criminals in American communities. Drug traffickers and stuff.
What do you think about the rising rates of violent crime?
