Hillary Clinton is facing another investigation, and that’s pretty much all she gained from the election. Now the Justice Department is opening an investigation into the FBI’s probe of Clinton in the last months of the elections.
The Justice Department will be investigating whether James Comey implemented department policies when he decided not to prosecute Clinton regarding her private email scandal. They will also investigate whether the FBI director followed the protocol at the time he opened the investigation just 11 days before the voting. Remember how Comey said that they didn’t find anything?
Democrats keep blaming Comey for their loss, claiming that his letter helped Trump win the presidential elections.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz announced that their investigation will check if Comey followed the FBI policies while doing his job.
Sources say that Horowitz announced the investigation after “requests from numerous Chairmen and Ranking Members of Congressional oversight committees, various organizations, and members of the public.”
Hillary came out to blame Comey, too.
“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Clinton stated, as reported by the New York Times. “Our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”
Hillary’s campaign manager Robby Mook also believes that Comey took their victory.
“It’s hard to imagine the kind of impact that that letter had,” Mook declared at a post-election conference at the Harvard Institute of Politics.
