Tuesday Senator Ted Cruz introduced two major bills series, one names the Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood, known as terrorists.
One person who took notice of the bill was Hillary Clinton’s confidante Huma Abedin, as well as an advocacy group of Muslim origin, known as Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Also the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is a target.
“I am proud to reintroduce these bills that would codify needed reforms in America’s war against radical Islamic terrorism,” Sen. Cruz said.
“This potent threat to our civilization has intensified under the Obama administration due to the willful blindness of politically-correct policies that hamper our safety and security. A grand détente with the Muslim Brotherhood and a blind eye to the IRGC are not pathways to peace in this struggle; they guarantee the ultimate success of our enemy.
“It is time to call this enemy by its name and speak with clarity and moral authority,” he added.
Here is an extract from a Muslim Brotherhood document undisclosed by American authorities and a piece of Cruz’s statement: “The process of settlement is a Civilization-Jihad process…The Ikhwan (Muslim Brotherhood) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers.”
Andrew McCarthy from National Review stated that Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota (at the time) initiated an investigation on Abedin’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood dating from 2012. At the time, she was outed by Sen. John McCain, who called the group “a few unspecified and unsubstantiated associations.”
Sadly, these accusations were not confirmed.
Although this doesn’t entail that Abedin is a terrorist we are pretty sure she had all the ties to them necessary to perform illegal actions.
There are plenty of actions still remaining in the shadows, and we hope to have clearance very soon.
