St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of Tennessee confirmed today that Eric Trump has helped the hospital raise money, a lot of money!
Their letter wrote that Eric has helped them raise $16.3 million in the past 10 years but because of the Democrats this has all come to an end.
St. Jude’s specializes in researching and treating diseases in children, especially pediatric cancer.
Tax records showed that Eric Trump Foundation raised less, but this is the plain truth. The New York Times reports that tax records are sometimes 2-3 years “late.”
“I am amazed by the many ways that you have personally embraced our cause and cared for our children and families,” wrote the letter from Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president of the hospital’s fund-raising organization. Eric Trump forwarded this letter to the New York Times.
“As you are aware, we are expanding our lifesaving work and are working to push cure rates even higher in this country and around the world, while improving the lives of survivors by developing and advancing treatments that reduce side effects. We are only able to do this because of the support provided by donors and supporters like you,” Shadyac added.
Eric Trump started a procedure in which his name will be removed from the charity, as previous practice has showed that it caused conflicts of interests. Some people were sad to learn that Eric is stepping away from the foundation.
The Trump Organization will keep raising money for the hospital, but they would ask patrons to give donations.
Eric Trump said that he will “continue to be a vocal advocate for pediatric cancer and St. Jude’s mission.”
