Congress About To Cut U.N. Funding, Saving Tax Payers $8 BILLION!

A congressmen informed the Washington Free Beacon that Congress was acting fast to penalize Palestine and the United Nations for this resolution by preventing further funds to the U.N. and remove Palestinian diplomats out of the U.S.

Ted Cruz is leading the way and has attacked Obama and his government for their anti-Israel resolution in a Facebook post.

“President Obama, Secretary Kerry, Ambassador Power, and their colleagues should remember that the United States Congress reconvenes on Jan. 3, and under the Constitution we control the taxpayer funds they would use for their anti-Israel initiatives,” wrote Cruz in his post.

“The 115th Congress must stop the current administration’s vicious attack on our great ally Israel, and address the major priorities of the incoming administration,” Cruz said.

Previously Cruz said he intended to make efforts to “significantly reduce or even eliminate U.S. funding of the United Nations, and also to seriously reconsider financial support for the nations that supported this resolution.”

“For those who have put your name to this despicable attack on Israel, you did so with full knowledge of the consequences of your actions,” stated Cruz.

Fox News’ estimates show that the U.S. gives $8 billion on the U.N. and its organizations every year, $3 billion of which go directly to the U.N. which is more than 185 of the 193 members’ combined funds and definitely more than any other lone benefactor. We’d like to see what happens if these funds are cut down, and it would be equally interesting to see what happens if these obnoxious Palestinian diplomats are also removed from the U.S.
