On Monday, Trump secured his win when Electoral College voters formally voted for the new president. Democrats were still dreaming that Clinton might somehow make it to the White House.
A desperate effort by some Dems putting pressure on Trump electors to try and get them to switch their votes. There goal was to keep Donald Trump from getting the 270 votes he needed for the win.
And a funny thing happened, more electors defected from Hillary Clinton than from Trump. Trump secured 304 electoral votes, only two fewer than he earned in November.
NPR reported which electors defected from their candidate.
